It’s the most wonderful time of the year….

Whether you are having a holiday gathering or just looking for some warm, wonderful comfort food for the winter months ahead, there is no better time of the year to enjoy our succulent, flavorful oven-roasted brisket and gluten- and lard-free brisket tamales. Check out our catering/menu page for ideas on wonderful dishes perfect for gatherings small or large. And remember, our brisket can be delivered vacuum-sealed so that you can keep it in the freezer (for up to 3 months) for any brisket emergencies that might arise! Our tamales also come vacuum-sealed, ready to steam and eat or toss in the freezer for later. Want to get more creative for your holiday gathering? Let us set up a station where we can make brisket panini’s, quesadillas, chalupas, tacos or sandwiches for your guests (pasta stations are so passe!). Other ideas for wonderful brisket dishes? Let us know how you like to get your brisket on!

Our New Market Schedule

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Brisket Heaven will no longer be available at the farmers market at Eastside (in Richardson) on Sundays. In an effort to continue to serve our customers in the most cost-effective way (for us and you!), Brisket Heaven will now – for the foreseeable future – be available on alternate Saturdays at the II Creeks market. Our new schedule will begin on September 17. In between, we are happy to deliver orders to your home or office within a generous, but limited, area. And though we encourage you to place the minimum order requested for delivery, we’ve been known to run orders as small as a couple of jars of salsa out to Garland, just because someone asked! So don’t be shy – visit Brisket Heaven tomorrow at II Creeks or call us to place an order!

Eastside Richardson Farmers Market

We had a great day on Sunday at the newest Dallas-area farmers market at Eastside in Richardson (SE corner of E. Campbell Road at US 75, behind Igor’s 7-11)! It is a beautiful development, with fabulous restaurants serving all types of cuisines. For dessert, you’ll definitely want to try Yumilicous (frozen yogurt) and SweetMix, which will open soon in the center but is available on Sundays as a market vendor! For the first market we had about 17 vendors, two with local produce and others with spices, seasonings, organic pasta and more! Come on by this Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm (Brisket Heaven will be there until we sell out and are out of free samples!). If you want to be sure that we’ll have brisket, tamales or salsa for you, give us a call at 469-235-8141 or email us at info@brisketheaven.com and we’ll be sure you’re taken care of! See you Sunday!

Since In-N-Out is coming to north Dallas…

a repost of a review. I’ve been hearing about In-N-Out Burgers for years, and in all the times I traveled to LA in my previous life I never once went there (possibly because I was on an expense account – so many incredible restaurants, so little time – but I digress). The link is a CNN iReport, and the iReporters really seem to like everything. It does look downright decadent, but I’m not sure it looks good except for the shakes. And what does she mean by their secret menu? Is this new stuff from In-N-Out? Should be an interesting addition to Dallas.

Can’t link it, but it works if you copy and paste it into your browser:

A Brisket Twist…

on “Toasty Mediterranean Cheddar Spirals” – found this on YouTube. I don’t love olives, but I think it would be really good with brisket instead of olives! Or in addition? What do you think?

Thanks for the great welcome to Sachse

The Sachse market has been incredible – the reception from the people in Sachse and the nearby communities of Wylie, Garland, Lavon, Rockwall, and even Dallas and Richardson has been so positive. We are talking to vendors and encouraging more local food producers and artisans to join the market, so please keep telling your friends!
